The product range of Lemberg Fisch GmbH includes around 150 different types of fish.
Fresh, deep-frozen, salted or smoked freshwater or sea fish leave the factory daily. Amongst others, smoked products from sturgeon, salmon and trout are being produced and processed with seasonings and oils from regional production.

Not for nothing a lot of tourists comes to Spreewald to see the beautiful natural landscape.
The ponds and and lakes of the Spreewald bring important nutriments for the fish stock.The smoke house of Lemberg Fisch GmbH in Raddusch is located in direct vicinity of this beautiful lake scenery and smokes not only its self produced fish, but also fish catched in seas or oceans.

Whole fish with firm flesh is smoked in traditional manner, for several days, over beech wood and alder wood smoke, without any colorants or additives.
Through the smoking process, the moisture is withdrawn from the fish and leads to a longer storage life while preserving the valuable vital materials. The fish furthermore gets a delicious color and a unique taste and flavour.

Besides of vacuuming, Lemberg Fish GmbH also applies MAP (modified atmoshpere packaging). The packaging of food under protective gas is a procedure that extends the storage life of sensitive food products. Color, shape and and texture of the fish products are preserved for an extended time. Undesirable changes to the product like dehydration, loss of weight or loss of aroma are excluded during the whole shelf life time period.
